KT Tape is a lightweight piece of cotton stretchable tape that you place over specific areas such as your shoulder, calves, elbows etc. You stretch the tape according to the instructions, and wear it throughout your workouts and long afterwards. The tape helps to relieve the pain you have in your muscles, making injury much less likely. Consequently, it also helps to maintain your same level of performance in your workouts and even in matches.
The KT Tape is exceptionally durable. I used the tape on my knee when doing all types of exercises in the boxing gym. I could wear it for a few days at a time, even in the shower and going for swims.
